A sacred month in which Allah (سبحانه و تعالی) prohibits us from the things which are otherwise completely allowed and Halal in normal days.

This proves that if we can refrain from Halal for Allah (سبحانه و تعالی) why can't we refrain from Haraam acts? Although fasting is medically very beneficial for health but actually its more effective in gaining spirituality and attaining purity!

Al-Baqarah [2:185]

The time of Suhoor and Iftaar is a blank cheque for the one who fasts! Fill it up with whatever duas you want to be fulfilled 🙂

The True Spirit of Ramadan

Well! Even shaytan being locked up its funny but tragic that in Ramadan ul Mubarak we are sometimes stuck up in 'ye kabab ki shape kaisi bun gai' , 'aj namk kam ho gaya is dish mai', 'aj wo wala drink ni banaya' 'pakoray kahan hain' etc etc!

Big discussions on media about petty issues! Where is the pain of Muslim Ummah about those brothers and sisters who are in so much destitution in our own country and out of country?

The essence of fasting, the spirit of being helpful and caring, the spirit of understanding the pain of those hungry people!

If they ask us on the day of judgment 'what did you do for us?' How will we answer? The least we can do is to make sincere duas for our Muslim brothers and sisters in pain, who cant even spend their Ramadan freely!

What Allah Will Ask Us

Also Allah (سبحانه و تعالی) won't ask us what did we eat in suhoor and iftaar, why was there so less sugar in the juice, why were the kababs deshaped, how many times did we go to market to do shopping for Eid in Ramadan ul Mubark?

He will see ikhlaas, sincerity of the heart! How much struggle did we put in this beautiful month to gain HIS razza and to gain solace in our spiritual level all over the year! This one month which He gifted us so that we can just focus on HIM just on HIM!

إِنَّمَا يَتَقَبَّلُ اللَّهُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ

Al-Ma'idah [5:27]

May Allah taala help and forgive us all. Ameen.
