Ramadan 2017

A sacred month in which Allah (سبحانه و تعالی) prohibits us from the things which are otherwise completely allowed and Halal in normal days.

This proves that if we can refrain from Halal for Allah (سبحانه و تعالی) why can't we refrain from Haraam acts? Although fasting is medically very beneficial for health but actually its more effective in gaining spirituality and attaining purity!

The time of Suhoor and Iftaar is a blank cheque for the  one who fasts! Fill it up with whatever duas you want to be fulfilled 🙂

Well! Even shaytan being locked up its funny but tragic that in Ramadan ul Mubarak we are sometimes stuck up in 'ye kabab ki shape kaisi bun gai' , 'aj namk kam ho gaya is dish mai', 'aj wo wala drink ni banaya' 'pakoray kahan hain' etc etc!

Big discussions on media about petty issues! Where is the pain of Muslim Ummah about those brothers and sisters who are in so much destitution in our own country and out of country?

The essence of fasting, the spirit of being helpful and caring, the spirit of understanding the pain of those hungry people!

If they ask us on the day of judgment 'what did you do for us?' How will we answer? The least we can do is to make sincere duas for our Muslim brothers and sisters in pain, who cant even spend their Ramadan freely!

Also Allah (سبحانه و تعالی) won't ask us what did we eat in suhoor and iftaar, why was there so less sugar in the juice, why were the kababs deshaped, how many times did we go to market to do shopping for Eid in Ramadan ul Mubark?

He will see ikhlaas, sincerity of the heart! How much struggle did we put in this beautiful month to gain HIS razza and to gain solace in our spiritual level all over the year! This one month which He gifted us so that we can just focus on HIM just on HIM!

May Allah taala help and forgive us all. Ameen.

Some tips to maximize Ramadan ul Mubarak, in sha Allah:

1. Making dua for ourself and asking Allah (سبحانه و تعالی) to grant us himmat to do more and accept from us whatever good we do and forgive us for whatever wrong we do.

2. Prepare ourself in Shabaan for Ramadan with the intention of spending more time in ibaada and recitation.

3. Giving sadqa, making someone's life easy this Ramadan.

4. Doing all our shopping stuff before Ramadan so that we may enjoy Ramadan with focus on ibadaat and more Quran.

5. Making an intention to follow Sunnah and try to follow every Sunnah

6. Making intention of leaving sins specially backbiting and hurting

7. Making dua that Allah taala grant us taufeeq

8. Trying to memorize some part of Quran al Kareem. Its easier in Ramadan (personal experience). Spending more time with Quran , as Quran was revealed in this month

9. Reciting Quran with translation and give its meaning some deep thoughts with special feelings! Making dua and asking Allah (سبحانه و تعالی) to grant us noor of Quran.

10. Trying to make a intention of nafil aitikaaf in every night and while entering masjid, in the day while doing any ibaada and reciting quran.

11. Looking at the desires of our own nafs clearly as shaytaan is locked up during ramadan! We will be able to overcome them rest of the year

12. Trying to make our heart free from all diseases.

13. Making alot of dua in sehri and iftari for all the Muslims, the ones deceased and ourselves!

14. Taking care of creatures of Allah... Allah (سبحانه و تعالی) will take care of us!

I really liked this Nasheed about Ramadan. I hope you'll like it too!

May Allah make it easy for all of us.
